How many cubes your Odyle Energy opens

The rewards are in the cube, so spend energy on the dungeons whose cubes you want most, and keep your energy below the cap: it only recharges up to the cap, so while it is full the recharge is wasted.

• Cap: 560 without a membership, 840 with one. The higher cap is one of the membership perks NC lists; see AION 2 membership and Founder's Pack.
• Recharge: 15 energy at a time, on a timer the energy window shows, until you reach the cap.
• Charged Energy: a second pool of up to 2,000, shown next to the basic energy.

How to get more Odyle Energy

Wind Breeze Merchants

Shop > Wind Breeze Merchants > Special sells Odyle Energy (Bound) for 100,000 Kina. Since NC's October 27 patch there are two limits: 4 a week per character and 16 a week per server. Each one recharges 40 energy, one Conquest Expedition cube.

Substance Morph

Substance Morph turns 25 Odyle, 5 Fine Odyle, 1 Pure Odyle and 50,000 Kina into Odyle Energy (Bound), up to 16 a week per server. The Odyle comes from gathering: it is one of the Essence Extraction materials on our AION 2 gathering planner.

Events

• 2 Odyle Energy in the in-game mail once a day for every character, until the maintenance on November 10. AION 2 Ludra: dates and rewards
• 2 Odyle Energy (Bound) on days 7, 14, 21 and 28 of the Atreia's Call login event, until the maintenance on December 2.
• 4 Odyle Energy (Bound) after 6 hours of the Halloween Twitch Drops, until November 3 at 23:59 PST. AION 2 Twitch Drops
• 6 Odyle Energy (Bound) after 9 hours of the Ludra Twitch Drops, from November 4 to November 17.

New ways to get Odyle Energy usually arrive with NC's events and patches; they go on AION 2 news and patch notes the day NC posts them. The next big one is Ludra on November 4, 2026.

What is Odyle Energy used for in AION 2?

It opens the Odyle Energy Cube that appears after you clear an Expedition, Transcendence or Sanctuary. A cube costs 20 in an Exploration Expedition and 40 in a Conquest Expedition. The rewards of those dungeons are in the cube, so energy decides how many of them you collect.

What is the Odyle Energy cap in AION 2?

560, or 840 with a membership. Energy recharges 15 at a time up to that cap, and a separate Charged Energy pool holds up to 2,000.

A membership raises the cap from 560 to 840, enough for 7 more Conquest Expedition cubes before the energy stops recharging, and NC's perk list adds more cube picks in Expedition, Transcendence and Sanctuary.
