How skill points work in AION 2
Every class has 12 active and 10 passive skills, each unlocked at a set character level. A skill comes at level 1; Skill Points raise it, active or passive, up to level 10. Levels above 10 come from other parts of your character, not from Skill Points, which is why the levels in NC's data go higher.

Leveling to 45 gives 203 Skill Points; Wisdom Stones add 1 each. Reaching skill level 8 (13 points) also opens the skill's first Specialty slot. Resetting is free, so a build is never final.
You cannot max every skill
All 22 active and passive skills at level 10 would cost 462 Skill Points; a level-45 character has 203, enough for about 9 skills at level 10. So choose: the builder shows the middle skill level of level-45 players next to each skill, a quick way to see which skills they raise first.

AION 2 Stigma slots and Stigma Shards
Stigmas are a separate set of 13 skills per class. Slots open at levels 22, 27, 32 and 37, 4 in all, and Stigmas use Stigma Shard points instead of Skill Points:

Four Stigmas at level 20 cost 300 Shard points. Leveling gives 29 by level 45; the rest comes from shops and achievements, so add yours in the builder. See the AION 2 Gladiator leveling guide for when each slot opens on the way to 45.

How we checked these numbers
NC has not published the Skill Point or Stigma Shard costs. Skill names, unlock levels and the usage shares come from NC's own Character Info data. We read the skills of level-45 characters only, never names, and count how many have each skill on the bar. Rules checked on October 22, 2026.
AION 2 skill builder FAQ
- How many skill points do you get in AION 2?
- 203 Skill Points from leveling by level 45. Each Wisdom Stone you use adds 1 more.
- How many skill points does it take to max a skill?
- 21 points take one skill from level 1 to 10, the most Skill Points can reach: 1 point for each of levels 2 to 4, 2 for levels 5 to 7 and 4 for levels 8 to 10.
- Can you max every skill in AION 2?
- No. Every class has 22 active and passive skills, so all of them at level 10 would cost 462 Skill Points, and leveling gives 203.
- How many Stigma slots does AION 2 have?
- 4, opening at levels 22, 27, 32 and 37. A Stigma costs 1 Stigma Shard point to learn and 75 in all to reach level 20.
- Which Stigmas do Gladiators use most?
- Among 60 level-45 Gladiators in NC's character data: Lunge Stance (82%), Rage Burst (82%), Zikel's Blessing (80%) and Focused Block (47%). The tool shows the same for every class.
