AION 2 world boss respawn times
Field bosses come back a set time after they die, from 30 min for the weakest to 12 h for the strongest. Most are level 45; the slowest, on 12 h, are level 48 and 51.

The respawn times of 4 Verteron bosses are not confirmed yet: Forest Warrior Aullamu (2 h or 4 h), Black Tentacle Lawa (2 h or 4 h), Centurion Demiros (2 h or 4 h) and Sentinel K'nash (2 h or 4 h). Until that is settled, use Set timer with the Time Left the game shows.
How to see the world boss timer in the game
The game lists every field boss in your region on the map. Each one shows Spawned, or the time left until it is back; open it for its details and a Travel button.
- Open the map.
- Go to Exploration > Field Boss.
- Read the boss's Time Left, or open it and press Travel to go there.
Copy a Time Left into the tracker above and you can keep several bosses counting down in one place, next to the ones you killed yourself.
How AION 2 field boss respawns work
- The clock starts at the kill. A boss has no fixed time of day: one that dies at noon on a 3 h timer is back at about 15:00, whatever the hour.
- Both maps have the same top bosses. Silent Dartan, Soul Ruler Kashapa and High Commander Lagta live in Verteron and in Altgard, and Gartua is Eternal Gartua in Verteron and Immortal Gartua in Altgard.
- Level 45 first. Every field boss is level 45 or higher; the AION 2 Gladiator leveling guide and the other leveling guides get you to 45.
- Long waits. A boss on a 12 h timer leaves time for other things in the same zone, such as gathering; the AION 2 gathering planner shows which Essence Extraction skills to buy. Every hour on the hour there is also the AION 2 Shugo Festival, a few minutes of minigames with rewards. A bigger fight is coming: AION 2 Ludra returns on November 4, with titles for the first parties to beat it.

Watcher Kaira, a level 65 boss, appears every 3 hours at a random spot in Lower Reshanta. Its hours are not confirmed yet, so it has no countdown here.
Time in the Lower Abyss is limited. A Lower Abyss Rift Stone adds 1 hour of Lower Abyss time and lasts 7 days. NC sold it in the Shop for 50,000 Kina until the October 27 (PDT) maintenance; since that patch it comes as a reward from the Land Grabs and Watcher Kaira weekly Season Missions. The Artifact Siege itself counts down on the AION 2 timers page, next to the Spacetime Rift.
How we checked these times
NC has not published the global boss times. Respawn times are checked against NC's own respawn table for the Korean version at half its times, which matches the global game on most bosses. Where a time is not confirmed yet, both values are shown and the boss has no Killed button. Watcher Kaira's hours are not confirmed yet, so it has no countdown. Clocks change in Europe on October 25 and in North America on November 1, and we check the Abyss times again after each change. Checked on October 22, 2026.
