What every PC needs
- A 64-bit processor and a 64-bit version of Windows 10 or 11
- DirectX 12
- A broadband internet connection
- 100 GB of free space, ideally on an SSD (NC recommends one)
The Full HD preset note
NC's own note on both levels: when you play at Full HD (1920 × 1080), set the graphics preset to Very Low on a minimum PC and to Low on a recommended PC to make sure the game runs.
In other words, NC's recommended PC is aimed at the Low preset at 1920 × 1080, not at maximum settings. If you want higher settings, plan for more than the recommended hardware.
Platforms, controllers and Steam Deck
- Stores: Steam and PURPLE (NC's launcher). The game is the same on Steam and PURPLE, and players from both share the same servers.
- You can play on Steam without a PURPLE account; link the two only if you want the same characters on both.
- Controllers: Playable with a controller, but controllers are not officially supported.
- Linux and Steam Deck are not officially supported: NC only supports Steam and PURPLE on Windows PC.
- Mobile: The global version is on Steam and PURPLE only.

- NC only supports Windows PC through Steam and PURPLE. Steam lists the game for Windows only, and Linux and Steam Deck are not officially supported.
