Server transfer dates
- Early Access servers: After the regular maintenance on Tuesday, October 13 (PDT), until the regular maintenance on Tuesday, October 20 (PDT).
- Launch servers: After the regular maintenance on Tuesday, October 20 (PDT), until the regular maintenance on Tuesday, October 27 (PDT).

Daily application windows by region
You can only apply during your region's windows, every day of your transfer week (times are NC's, in Pacific time):

Rules for AION 2 server transfers
- Transfers only go to a server of the same faction.
- Transfers only go to a server in the same region.
- Characters on Early Access servers can only move to other Early Access servers.
- One transfer per account for the whole transfer period, from one server to one other server.
- There is no limit on how many characters you move in that one transfer.
- The first week is for Early Access servers only, the second week for Launch servers only.
- A transfer is refused when the server you leave or the server you join has reached its transfer limit.
You start the transfer from the In-Game Shop, then Server Transfer. The purchase button only becomes active once you meet every requirement in the checklist.
What it costs
- Base cost: 0 Quna, once per account.
- Each character you move: 0 Quna.
- Each extra character slot on the new server: 1,000 Quna.
Moving 6 characters to a server where only 4 character slots are free costs 2,000 Quna for the 2 extra slots.

After the transfer
- Your character's name becomes @TemporaryName; you choose a new name the first time you log in. If your old name is taken on the new server, you cannot keep it.
- A finished transfer cannot be cancelled or undone.
- You are sent back to the title screen and cannot log in while the transfer runs; it takes at least a minute.
- PURPLE players get a PURPLE PUSH notification when it is done.
- Duplicate Special Pets give a Pet Reward Ticket and duplicate non-customizable skins a Skin (Single) Reward Ticket, both usable until NC's regular maintenance on Tuesday, November 24 (PST).
- You can only enter the Abyss Corridor on your new server once that server has captured it.
Pick the destination with care: it decides which Asmodian or Elyos server you fight in the Abyss. Each pairing is on the server list, and the Membership page explains why Server Storage and Market listings matter here.
AION 2 server transfer FAQ
- When is the AION 2 server transfer?
- From October 13 to October 27, 2026. Characters on Early Access servers can move in the first week (after the October 13 maintenance until the October 20 maintenance, Pacific time) and characters on Launch servers in the second week (October 20 to the October 27 maintenance).
- How much does a server transfer cost in AION 2?
- Nothing. The transfer and each character cost 0 Quna. You only pay 1,000 Quna for each extra character slot if you move more characters than the new server has free slots.
- Can I transfer to the other faction or another region?
- No. A transfer only goes to a server of the same faction in the same region, and characters on Early Access servers can only move to other Early Access servers.
- How many times can I transfer?
- Once per account for the whole transfer period, from one server to one other server. There is no limit on how many characters you take along in that one transfer.
- Will my character keep its name after a transfer?
- Not automatically. The name changes to @TemporaryName and you pick a new one the first time you log in. If your old name is already taken on the new server, you cannot use it.
- Do my Kina and items transfer?
- Kina and items in the character's inventory and Character Storage move with it. Items and Kina in Server Storage do not, so move them to the character before you transfer. Quna, Mileage, Membership and the Daeva Pass move too.
