Ranger weapon: the bow
In NC's item data the bow is a Ranger-only weapon: no other class can equip it. For the off-hand slot there is the Guard, which every class can equip.

- Defiance (active, level 16): every class has a skill with this name.
- Revitalization Contract (passive, level 23): also the Assassin, Sorcerer and Spiritmaster.
AION 2 Ranger FAQ
- What weapon does the Ranger use in AION 2?
- A bow. In NC's item data, only Rangers can equip it. Like every class, the Ranger can also equip a Guard in the off-hand slot.
- How many skills does the Ranger have?
- 35: 12 active skills, 10 passive skills and 13 Stigma skills, as NC lists them in its official Character Info.
- When do Ranger Stigma skills unlock?
- At level 22: NC's data lists level 22 for all 13 Ranger Stigma skills. Active skills unlock from level 1 to 16 and passive skills from level 1 to 25.
- Can the Ranger be male or female?
- Yes. NC's character data lists the Ranger for both genders and for both factions, Elyos and Asmodian. No class in the global version is locked to one gender.

- Gladiator: greatsword. Front-line fighter with a giant blade.
- Templar: longsword. Shield guardian who holds the line.
- Assassin: dagger. Silent striker from the shadows.
- Chanter: staff. Blesses and protects allies.
- Cleric: mace. Healer who keeps allies alive.
- Sorcerer: spellbook. Arcane storms that wipe out enemies.
- Spiritmaster: orb. Commands spirits and elemental power.
