How we counted
NC's official Character Info pages show the gear of any character. We asked NC's own character search for level-45 characters of each class (NA servers, sorted by level), opened the first 25 of each and noted the item in the main hand and the off-hand, with its grade and enchant level as NC lists them. We did not keep any player names. Grades are NC's labels; NC does not rank them on those pages, so neither do we.

- What weapon does each class use in AION 2?
- Each class has one weapon type of its own. Gladiator: greatsword; Templar: longsword; Assassin: dagger; Ranger: bow; Chanter: staff; Cleric: mace; Sorcerer: spellbook; Spiritmaster: orb.
- Can a class use another class's weapon in AION 2?
- No. In NC's item data each weapon type can be equipped by one class only. The off-hand guard is the exception: every class can carry one.
- What weapons do level-45 players carry in AION 2?
- In every class, the Spiritforged weapon was the most common among the 25 level-45 characters per class we read on NC's Character Info on October 19, 2026, followed by Aulamus, Liberator and Rupture weapons.
