The Cleric build at a glance

Both builds spend exactly the 203 Skill Points and 29 Stigma Shard points a character earns by level 45. Skills not listed stay at level 1. Each button opens the build in our skill builder, where you can change any level.

Why some skills stop at 7: levels 2 to 4 cost 1 Skill Point each, 5 to 7 cost 2 and 8 to 10 cost 4, so a skill at 7 costs 9 points and the last three levels cost 12 more. Wisdom Stones add points on top of the 203; spend them on the next skill in the list below. Daevanion nodes and gear add levels beyond the 10 that Skill Points buy.

Cleric skill priority

In the order to raise them. Next to each skill: how many of 60 level-45 Clerics in NC's own character data have it on their skill bar.

  1. Condemnation to 10 (on the bar: 59 of 60). Your hardest hit. It only lands on a target held by Chain of Torment, and while Earth Punishment's debuff is on the target it always crits.
  2. Earth's Retribution to 10 and Judgment Thunder to 10 (on the bar: 60 of 60, 60 of 60). Your two basic attacks. They fill every gap, and Earth's Retribution gives mana back.
  3. Radiant Recovery to 10 (on the bar: 60 of 60). Your main direct heal: two casts in a row, and it also removes debuffs.
  4. Light of Regeneration to 10 and Healing Light to 10 (on the bar: 60 of 60, 60 of 60). Light of Regeneration heals over time; cast it before the pull. Healing Light is the quick heal on one target.
  5. Divine Aura to 10 (on the bar: 59 of 60). Part of the damage order in the quiet moments between heals.
  6. Chain of Torment to 7 (on the bar: 60 of 60). It only has to hold the target for Condemnation, so it stops at 7, the last cheap level: 8 to 10 cost 4 points each.

Passives. Empyrean Lord's Grace and Earth's Grace to 10, then Healing Enhancement with the last 5 points. Earth's Grace has no level gate: buy all ten levels when it unlocks at 21.

Cleric Stigmas

Stigma slots open at levels 22, 27, 32 and 37. Learning a Stigma costs 1 shard point; the 29 points you have at 45 cover four Stigmas at these levels:

StigmaLevelSlot opens atLevel-45 Clerics running it
Light of Protection72246 of 60
Noble Aura62740 of 60
Earth Punishment73246 of 60
Summon Resurrection43738 of 60
  • Light of Protection is the big group buff, but drop it when a Chanter is in the group: the Chanter's mantra covers it and the two do not stack.
  • Earth Punishment is the core of the Cleric's damage, because of the guaranteed Condemnation crit.
  • Noble Aura stays up once summoned and keeps dealing damage on its own.
  • Summon Resurrection brings a fallen teammate back. Use it only in a safe moment.

Prayer of Amplification is the usual pick in place of Light of Protection when a Chanter brings the buff instead.

Daevanion boards

The boards add stats, and some of their nodes add a level to a skill. Take the +1 nodes for Light of Regeneration, Condemnation, Judgment Thunder and Earth's Retribution first: nearly every top Cleric does. The first three are on Nezekan, Earth's Retribution on Zikel.

  • Nezekan, level 12: Combat Speed and Cooldown Reduction.
  • Zikel, level 20: Damage Boost and Damage Tolerance.
  • Vaizel, level 30: Critical Damage Boost and Critical Damage Tolerance.
  • Triniel, level 40: Multi-Hit Chance and Multi-Hit Resist.
  • Azphel, level 45: PvP stats only.
  • Ariel, added in NC's October 20 patch, fills from Ariel Fragments earned in the Hard mode of Krao Cave and Draupnir (item level 2600).

Cleric rotation

  1. Before the pull: Light of Regeneration, Light of Protection, and summon Noble Aura.
  2. Debilitating Mark and Chain of Torment; recast them when they run out.
  3. Earth Punishment, then Condemnation while Chain of Torment holds the target.
  4. Judgment Thunder and Divine Aura in the quiet moments; Earth's Retribution when you need mana.
  5. Healing Light for one target; Radiant Recovery when several are hurt or carry a debuff. Do not spend every big heal on the first hit.

Skills land better when Tab picks the enemy in front of you; see how to set up tab target in AION 2.

PvE: Attack, Critical Hit and Accuracy.

Cleric PvP build

The PvP build keeps the same core and changes the rest: Debilitating Mark and Chain of Torment go to 10, and Absolution and Salvation take over Stigma slots. The full list is in the table at the top.

  • Clerics are the first target in PvP, so the passive Immortal Veil goes to 10.
  • Absolution and Salvation replace Noble Aura and Summon Resurrection. Salvation makes the party invincible for 3 seconds.
  • Debilitating Mark goes to 10 and opens each fight, before Chain of Torment and Condemnation.

Other ways to build it

Most level-45 Clerics run Summon Resurrection as the fourth Stigma, while damage-minded builds take Prayer of Amplification or Voice of Doom. Bolt is a top skill in some builds and left at 1 in others.

How we put this build together

We do not play-test builds ourselves. Every pick is checked against NC's own Character Info: 60 level-45 Clerics across NA West, NA East and Europe, and what each one has on the skill bar. Where builds split, we followed the side NC's data backs and wrote the other side above. Skill and Stigma names are NC's global names. Checked on October 23, 2026.

Every Cleric skill and its unlock level is on the AION 2 Cleric skills page, and the way to 45 is in the AION 2 Cleric leveling guide. Builds for the other classes: Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Ranger, Chanter, Sorcerer and Spiritmaster, or all eight side by side on AION 2 builds for every class.

AION 2 Cleric build FAQ

What is the best Cleric build in AION 2?
The standard AION 2 Cleric build maxes the heals and the Condemnation combo, runs Light of Protection, Noble Aura, Earth Punishment and Summon Resurrection, and stacks Attack, which also raises healing. It spends all 203 Skill Points and 29 Stigma Shard points a character has at level 45.
What should a Cleric max first?
Start with Condemnation, Earth's Retribution, Judgment Thunder and Radiant Recovery. Condemnation: your hardest hit. It only lands on a target held by Chain of Torment, and while Earth Punishment's debuff is on the target it always crits.
What Stigmas should a Cleric use?
For PvE: Light of Protection (level 7), Noble Aura (level 6), Earth Punishment (level 7) and Summon Resurrection (level 4). Light of Protection is the big group buff, but drop it when a Chanter is in the group: the Chanter's mantra covers it and the two do not stack. Prayer of Amplification is the usual pick in place of Light of Protection when a Chanter brings the buff instead.
What is the best Cleric PvP build?
Max Debilitating Mark and Chain of Torment as well, and swap Absolution and Salvation into the Stigma slots. Clerics are the first target in PvP, so the passive Immortal Veil goes to 10.
What stats does a Cleric need?
In PvE, in this order: Attack, Critical Hit and Accuracy.
