The Spiritmaster build at a glance
Looking for a Spirit Master build? It is the same class: NC writes the name as one word, Spiritmaster.
Both builds spend exactly the 203 Skill Points and 29 Stigma Shard points a character earns by level 45. Skills not listed stay at level 1. Each button opens the build in our skill builder, where you can change any level.

Why some skills stop at 7: levels 2 to 4 cost 1 Skill Point each, 5 to 7 cost 2 and 8 to 10 cost 4, so a skill at 7 costs 9 points and the last three levels cost 12 more. Wisdom Stones add points on top of the 203; spend them on the next skill in the list below. Daevanion nodes and gear add levels beyond the 10 that Skill Points buy.
Spiritmaster skill priority
In the order to raise them. Next to each skill: how many of 60 level-45 Spiritmasters in NC's own character data have it on their skill bar.
- Summon: Fire Spirit to 10 and Summon: Water Spirit to 10 (on the bar: 60 of 60, 59 of 60). Most of your damage comes from your spirits, which is also why the class still works on high ping.
- Combustion to 10 (on the bar: 60 of 60). Your main attack between the higher-priority cooldowns.
- Elemental Fusion to 10 (on the bar: 60 of 60). Cast it while Four Elements is active.
- Jointstrike: Curse to 10 (on the bar: 60 of 60). Keep it on the target the whole fight.
- Dimensional Control to 10 (on the bar: 60 of 60). Use it in its window right after a spirit skill.
- Cold Shock to 10 (on the bar: 60 of 60). Cast it before your mana runs short; its specialty restores 20% more MP.
- Summon: Earth Spirit to 5 (on the bar: 57 of 60). Gets the last 5 points.
Passives. Spirit Strike first, to 10, then Spirit's Descent to 10 and Consecutive Countercurrent to 7.
Spiritmaster Stigmas
Stigma slots open at levels 22, 27, 32 and 37. Learning a Stigma costs 1 shard point; the 29 points you have at 45 cover four Stigmas at these levels:
| Stigma | Level | Slot opens at | Level-45 Spiritmasters running it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Summon: Ancient Spirit | 10 | 22 | 53 of 60 |
| Enhance: Spirit's Benediction | 5 | 27 | 54 of 60 |
| Jointstrike: Corrode | 5 | 32 | 45 of 60 |
| Flame Blessing | 4 | 37 | 35 of 60 |
- Summon: Ancient Spirit first and to 10. At 15 it attacks every 5 seconds instead of every 7.
- Enhance: Spirit's Benediction goes off with the Ancient Spirit in your main damage window.
- Jointstrike: Corrode and Flame Blessing fill the last two slots.
Jointstrike: Destructive Attack is the swap for bosses you need to stagger; it cannot go in a macro.
Daevanion boards
The boards add stats, and some of their nodes add a level to a skill. Take the +1 nodes for Combustion, Elemental Fusion, Spirit Strike and Cold Shock first: nearly every top Spiritmaster does. Nezekan also has a +1 node for Jointstrike: Curse. Boards can raise a skill past the 10 levels Skill Points buy.
- Nezekan, level 12: Combat Speed and Cooldown Reduction.
- Zikel, level 20: Damage Boost and Damage Tolerance.
- Vaizel, level 30: Critical Damage Boost and Critical Damage Tolerance.
- Triniel, level 40: Multi-Hit Chance and Multi-Hit Resist.
- Azphel, level 45: PvP stats only.
- Ariel, added in NC's October 20 patch, fills from Ariel Fragments earned in the Hard mode of Krao Cave and Draupnir (item level 2600).
Spiritmaster rotation
- Summon: Ancient Spirit, then the Fire and Water spirits.
- Enhance: Spirit's Benediction for the main damage window.
- Jointstrike: Corrode, then Jointstrike: Curse, and keep Curse up.
- Dimensional Control right after a spirit skill.
- Elemental Fusion while Four Elements is active, Combustion in between.
- Cold Shock before your mana runs out.
Macro. Give each kind of skill its own macro line: the spirits, Elemental Fusion, the Stigma buffs, and Dimensional Control with Jointstrike: Curse and Combustion. About 10 ms delay on low ping, 40 ms on high ping.
Skills land better when Tab picks the enemy in front of you; see how to set up tab target in AION 2.

Spiritmaster stats
PvE: Accuracy, Attack and Damage Boost, Cooldown Reduction, Critical Hit and MP.
Spiritmaster PvP build
The PvP build keeps the same core and changes the rest: Soul's Cry goes to 10, and Cry of Terror takes over Stigma slots. The full list is in the table at the top.
- Soul's Cry goes to 10: it has a 70% chance to fear a player.
- Cry of Terror has a chance to fear everyone in an area. For the Arena, you can run Cry of Terror, Seize Magic, Magic Block and Command: Proxy.
- Mental Focus is the passive to raise for PvP.

Other ways to build it
Corrode can be maxed, or left low until you have strong gear, and Rapid Scattershot can stay low except for world bosses.
How we put this build together
We do not play-test builds ourselves. Every pick is checked against NC's own Character Info: 60 level-45 Spiritmasters across NA West, NA East and Europe, and what each one has on the skill bar. Where builds split, we followed the side NC's data backs and wrote the other side above. Skill and Stigma names are NC's global names. Checked on October 23, 2026.
Every Spiritmaster skill and its unlock level is on the AION 2 Spiritmaster skills page. Builds for the other classes: Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Ranger, Chanter, Cleric and Sorcerer, or all eight side by side on AION 2 builds for every class.
